Job Description:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP. Ensure accurate reporting on project costs, revenue recognition, and cash flow.
  • Month-End Closing: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing financial performance across projects.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations, tax compliance, and manage external and internal audits.
  • Project Accounting: Oversee cost accounting, project allocations, and capital expenditure tracking to ensure financial accuracy in infrastructure and energy investments.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting efficiency, and ERP systems integration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and external auditors to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on the infrastructure or energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and project accounting principles.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
