Freight forwarders in DSV are acting as pro-active interface between the customer and all relevant internal and external service providers.

Possible location in Geneva if wished.

1. Control, organize and monitor the entire transport by sea freight import and export (Pick up until delivery of the shipment) / Invoicing
2. Active communication towards customer, DSV offices / Agents, sales, subcontractor and carriers in the daily business
3. Accepting customer orders, review of all shipment and order relevant data and documents, recording orders (e.g. IMO/DGR Certificate, Country Regulations)
4. Monitoring Job Costing/Profitability, processing of vendor invoices according to the instructions
5. Working and resolving operational problems and issues. Escalation management according to matrix specifications
6. Quality responsibility, follow and respect the specified process and operating procedures

1. Team player with good communication
2. Customer focus (monitors customer expectations continuously and is willing to adapt own activities/procedures)
3. Planning & organizing (ability to prioritize, plan, assign & control performance against deadlines and milestones)
4. Knowledge and trained on Good Distribution Practice Concepts and applicable SOPs
5. Commercial apprenticeship
6. Relevant working experience in sea freight environment
7. Fluent in English and French, German is an asset
