Tool & Equipment Engineer As a Tool & Equipment Engineer you will be part of the Production Support team. The position holder will lead equipment maintenance and repair, as well as replacement. Being responsible for a defined field allows building up specialized know‑how for specific processes and the respective equipment. This function adds value by improving process efficiency both from the technological side and with classical LEAN tools. Responsibilities Provide administration and supervision of external partners on site. Create and maintain Technical Specifications, Calibration instructions, Process maps, Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup, etc.), Work instructions, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) dossiers, TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentations according to Arinc 668), GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals), SAP equipment database (ZITOOL). Introduce new technologies (automation, scanning, 3D printing, …). Design and modify equipment that is not COTS. Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban and Root Cause Analysis. Promote research, development, and collaborative projects for supported processes. Assure cost reduction of supported processes through automation and other efficiency improvements. Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s in engineering, aviation or equivalent. Working experience in aerospace industry or equivalent industrial environment. MRO and/or Engine know‑how desired. Design and drawing of components with CAD; desirable experience with Fusion 360. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Solid communication and presentation skills. Independent, precise and responsible work. Open‑minded, dedicated team player. High safety, quality and cost awareness. Strong in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP.
