In this role, you’ll combine your programming expertise with hands-on engineering to build smarter, faster, and more reliable systems.Your responsibilities will be to:Contribute to our ambitious goal of fully automating our factory, and help pave the way for the future of manufacturing innovationDesign, develop, and improve programs for advanced automation and testing systems with a focus on performance and reliabilityWrite, modify and optimize software for Beckhoff PLCs and LabVIEW testing stationsPerform in depth data analysis using SQL, Grafana and PowerBICreate electrical and pneumatic layout schematics and create material lists in accordance with stock, delivery times and internal standardsEnsure documentation is current and accessible, including user manuals and error-handling protocols, to facilitate smooth operation and knowledge transferConduct training sessions to equip operators, shift leaders and maintenance technicians with the skills to efficiently operate and manage machineryDevelop and implement strategies for cost reduction and continuous improvement, contributing to a leaner, more cost-effective production environmentOur requirements:B.S. or M.S. degree in HES/EPF or in another related fieldIdeally 5 to 10 years of experience with automated assembly and manufacturing machines for high volume productionKnowledge and experience in working with different software packages (e.g. PLCs, LabVIEW, Python)In depth knowledge of electrical and control technology as well as basic knowledge of quality control processesFluent in English and good knowledge of either French or GermanCapable of working as a part of the team as well as working independentlyFlexible for occasional travelWhat do we offer:A truly international and multicultural work environmentThe opportunity to further develop your professional skills in a diverse and engaging job #J-18808-Ljbffr
