Saxo is looking for a talented and ambitious local PR & Communications Manager to elevate our brand presence and drive media visibility in Switzerland. As our local PR & Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Saxo’s narrative and positioning us as the preferred choice for investors and traders in Switzerland. You’ll lead the development and execution of local PR strategies, ensuring alignment with our global PR strategy while tailoring strong messaging that resonates with local investor audiences. You will work out of our office in Zurich, closely with local leadership and marketing to get our stories into the media, and become a key part of our global communications team alongside colleagues in other markets and in Copenhagen. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing in Switzerland and work closely with Saxo’s Global Head of Communications. Key Responsibilities Grow our business by developing, updating, and executing local PR strategies that support Saxo’s brand position, product launches, and thought leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant key journalists and media outlets. Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, bylined articles and other PR materials. Collaborate with local CEO, management, global market strategists, and other key stakeholders across the bank. Monitor media coverage and provide regular reporting and insights to local management and the global PR & Communications team. Serve as a trusted advisor to local leadership on communications matters, including media training and messaging. Lead crisis communications planning and response in alignment with global protocols. Ensure all PR activities align with Saxo’s brand values and contribute to long-term reputation building. Support the development and execution of larger global PR initiatives to drive the global PR agenda across all markets. Support the implementation and coordination of marketing and communications initiatives. Your Profile 5+ years of experience in PR, journalism, or corporate communications – either working in media, in-house, or at an agency. Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. Proven track record in media relations, ideally within financial services or fintech. Strong writing skills and ability to craft engaging content across formats. Creative can‑do mentality with a desire to succeed. Fluent in German, French and English. Energetic, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating across global teams. Deep understanding of the local media landscape. Experience in crisis communications and stakeholder management. Preferably interested in investing, financial trends, and digital innovation.
