We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our UBS Scenario Hub.
You’ll get to:
- contribute to development processes by developing code, building services, containers, reusable library dependencies and execution pipelines
- understand our cloud platforms and overall strategy
- work on debugging, testing, configuring, and monitoring large-scale cloud systems.
- create efficiencies with room for experimentation to try new things and implement industry best practices to form the foundation of our overall DevOps strategy
You will be part of the UBS Risk IT, Scenario Hub team, a group of elite and pioneering software and data engineers who bring modern computer science and IT platform to our stakeholders across the bank. We implement common reusable solutions to ensure the risk management runs on the most optimal and scalable framework.
Your expertiseWe’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has a passion for programming and is a problem solver
- has a good understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms
- has experience with Java and Python programming languages
- has knowledge of Cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD (GitLab), and Kubernetes
- has a conceptual understanding of Linux environments and scripting languages
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your programThis paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients, and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues and taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
