Senior IT Security Architect (m,w,d) - Onion ++ Zürich/Remote
Project: For our client in the Insurance field we are looking for an experienced IT Security Architect. You will play a key role in assessing new IT initiatives, evaluating proposed security solutions, and ensuring they align with the organization's security policies and technical measures.
Responsibilities:
- Assess security requirements for new IT initiatives and evaluate proposed solutions against established security policies.
- Work closely with IT architects to ensure security considerations are integrated into the design of solutions.
- Assist in the evaluation of Change Requests, ensuring that security measures are adequate and compliant with company policies.
- Provide recommendations for security improvements, focusing on risk management and vulnerability mitigation.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal security guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and security requirements.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IT security architecture, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of IT security frameworks and regulatory compliance, such as GDPR, Solvency II, and ISO 27001.
- Experience applying Onion++ or similar methodologies for security assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented work approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk mitigation.
