Overview and purpose of role:

Global Treasury provides wide ranging treasury services to all businesses and geographical areas, including bank relations, liquidity management, inter-company funding, netting management, financial investment, payment and bank connectivity management, debt management, financial risk management, credit risk management, working capital management, fraud risk management, merchant acquiring services, bank account management, KYC and compliance management, and global IT treasury and banking infrastructures and operational support.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

The primary function of this role will be focused on Financial Risks Management (FRM).

Forex and IR risks Management

• Execute FX derivatives orders via voice and platform.
• Participate in the definition of the financial risks management framework and formalize policies to describe risk tolerance and appetite, method to identify, quantify, and report exposures to foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk and group-wide financial counterparty risk.
• Analyze and suggest recommendations for decision support regarding financial risk/rewards, hedging and other scenarios to manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk. Owner of any new derivatives product approval process.
• Perform controls and analysis, develop KPIs.
• Prepare various reports for internal and external constituents.

Debt Management

• Participate in CL financing strategy including but not limited to policy documentation and framework for prioritization and decision making.
• Support in the management of the syndicated loan and any other local financings at all levels in the Group.
• Coordinate debt payments, including interest and related fees.
• Analyze debt maturities and participate in refinancing and new debt issuance to ensure liquidity is available to meet operational needs and capital requirements.
• Analyze the funding diversification strategy and disintermediation such as capital-raising alternatives including public and private debt issues, government programs, convertible debt offerings, equity offerings, leasing, revolving lines of credit, etc., on a global basis, including the respective hedging operations with cross-currency swaps, interest rate swaps, or any other required derivatives.
• Act as a support for ESG matters with the financial community.
• Assist in other treasury projects as needed to achieve team goals.

Compliance and Control Management

• Monitor treasury's compliance with regulations and internal policies. Define, document and update treasury policies and processes; propose any changes that may add value to the policy and the wider treasury function of the company.
• Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory requirements including market directives for all capital market transactions and understand resulting implications for the treasury function (EMIR, FATCA, MIFID, Dodd-Frank Act, IFRS…).
• Manage annual fiscal year bank confirmations process with all banks for all Christian Louboutin entities.
• Establish appropriate controls and risk limit necessary to operate the risk management function. Monitor and control risk limits per bank for all treasury transactions including cash, FX, IR, financial investment, debt, trade finance and any other treasury transactions.
• Assess operational risks inherent to treasury financial transactions (FX, IR, counterparty, fraud and SOX controls) and risks related to operational tasks (unusual or irregular activities).
• Act as point of contact and support accounting/consolidation departments for analysis, assessment (IAS/IFRS) and explanation of financial operations (monthly, quarterly and hard close).

Trade Finance Management

• Participate in the bank guarantees management, issuance, Main Levée, amendment. Maintain documentation and policy up to date.
• Monitor portfolio and analyze bank fees and credit line use.
• Prepare and deliver various reporting for internal controls.

Treasury Reporting

• Analyze, develop and calculate key performance indicators for FRM activities.
• Perform treasury risk reporting activities (manage treasury limits, prepare FX deals summary reports, counter-party risk management report…).
• Perform treasury compliance reporting activities (compliance and internal controls reports). Produce and deliver regulatory information as needed and ensure all regulatory information is reported accurately and provided in a timely manner.

Project Management

• Lead, participate or support projects to improve efficiency for the group.
• Ad-hoc projects - Involvement in a variety of related FRM projects.
• Act as back-up or support for other treasury functions (fraud management and credit risks analysis) to ensure business continuity.

Skills and Requirements:

To assume the main responsibilities of the position, you will need to possess the following skills and ideally have acquired diversified experience in several of the following environments: corporate, regional, local, functional diversity, geographic diversity:

Technical skills:

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of Financial Risks Management, Treasury or a combination of Finance, Treasury and Banking experience in an international environment.
• Qualified finance professional with master’s degree in finance, Business Administration or Engineering or MBA/Post graduate qualifications.
• Knowledge of TMS Integrity, FXAll, and Eikon will be an asset.
• A profound technical knowledge of funding instruments and derivative products.
• Sound understanding of international financial markets and banking products.
• A strong communicator of both financial and business management concepts and issues.
• Strong analytical, planning, project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of corporate disclosure and related regulations & standards and understanding of the EU Sustainable Finance framework and ESG matters.
• Perfect command of French and English (other languages will be a plus).
