Marketing Specialist Rare disease

We are thrilled to recruit a Marketing Specialist/Expert for UCB. UCB is focused on the discovery and development of innovative medicines and solutions for people living with severe diseases in immunology and neurology. The team based in the Alps region (Austria & Switzerland) is passionate about making a difference in the epilepsy and rare disease community, improving patient health outcomes.

Your mission:

1. Drive localization and implementation of the EU and regional Rare & Epilepsy strategy and action plan in alignment with Alps Rare & Epi Lead and Alps Marketing Lead;
2. Develop local marketing solutions across different channels;
3. Manage marketing campaigns via several channels including digital, print, and events;
4. Build, monitor, and track implementation of Marketing strategies via KPIs to measure their value and impact;
5. Support the Marketing team in the development of the local Rare & Epi Integrated Strategic Planning (ISP).

Your profile:

1. Degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or equivalent;
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, ideally in pharma or biotech;
3. Excellent communication skills, creative and problem-solving abilities;
4. Ability to work independently as well as being part of a multicultural team;
5. Proficiency in MS Suite and interest in digital tools (experience with Veeva system is a plus);
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. French and/or Italian is a plus;
7. Passionate about making a positive impact on patients' lives and aligned with the core values of UCB.

This is a 100% remote role with trips to be planned throughout the year.
