For an important and expanding commodity trading company headquartered in Zug, Switzerland.

General scope

  • This position offers a highly interesting opportunity to succeed the CFO at a well-established commodity trading company
  • Right-hand person to the CFO (Regional CFO for all subsidiaries)
  • Support the CFO in daily operations and important projects
  • Familiarization with all relevant CFO tasks, with a transition to the CFO role within 12 to 24 months

Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Finance & Administration team in Zug (currently 2 employees)
  • Professional leadership of accounting, reporting, and financial processes for the group

Daily Operations

  • Evaluation, implementation and optimization of systems (ERP / ICS / others) and relevant processes
  • Preparation and analysis of IFRS group and local Swiss GAAP financial statements
  • Preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
  • Treasury and FX management
  • Maintenance and further development of the credit limit system, including the preparation and submission of credit applications for board approval
  • Preparation of tax returns (Switzerland and Netherlands), tax provisions and review/processing of tax invoices
  • Authorization and review of master data changes, entries and payments

Requirements

  • Languages: German and English (mandatory)
  • Education: University Degree or higher professional diplomas / qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with leadership experience
