Job Description
- You are the first point of contact for the project team regarding all process questions for anaerobic digestion (AD) applications.
- You support the preparation of offers for the AD part (contract study, concept development, process engineering calculations, preparation of block- and process flow diagrams).
- Development of Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Heat and Material Balance and Process simulation.
- Functional descriptions and logic diagrams as a basis for the programming of the plant automation and their testing (Factory Acceptance Test).
- Development of documentation and participation in HAZOP sessions, overall project documentation (Basis of Design, Cause and Effects Diagrams, Control Philosophy, Shutdown and Blowdown Philosophy, Isolation Philosophy, Flare Load Summary) and other technical documentation (e.g. static and rotating equipment, control valves).
- Support in technical evaluation and comparison of suppliers' offers.
- Support to the Commissioning Team for process-related items, process reviews during commissioning and before trial operation.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable function in Anaerobic Digestion (Renewable Gas), Waste Water Treatment, Energy from waste and/or similar industries.
- Proficient in the use of CAE tools (COMOS or similar) and MS Office.
- Reliability and sense of responsibility, good teamwork ability, problem-solving skills, and good decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of English; good command of German is a plus.
