Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Financial Analyst ready to embark on a growth trajectory toward a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role within our firm. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of finance experience within investment management sector, particularly with complex investment types such as private equity, corporate transactions, private debt, M&A, or infrastructure investments. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, a strategic mindset, and an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, develop financial models, and generate reports to assess investment opportunities in mid-cap real estate assets.
  • Investment Evaluation: Analyze complex investment structures, including real estate deals, private equity, corporate transactions, and debt structuring, to support informed decision-making.
  • Market Research & Due Diligence: Leverage local market knowledge and conduct in-depth research to evaluate the potential and risk factors associated with investment opportunities in targeted cities.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development of business strategies and financial plans that align with the company’s growth objectives and value creation for clients.
  • Client Interaction & Advisory: Engage with third-party investors and asset owners, providing insights and recommendations based on detailed financial analysis and market assessments.
  • Path to CFO: Progressively take on more responsibilities, evolving into a CFO role that will oversee financial planning, reporting, and strategy for the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in investment management, with a focus on complex investment types such as private equity, corporate M&A, or infrastructure.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Competencies: Strategic mindset, ability to assess local markets, and an understanding of real estate fundamentals.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
