Legal & Contract Manager – Zürich & Bern (100% MDW) Join Thales Schweiz as a Legal & Contract Manager where you will support the business activities of Thales Training & Simulation in Switzerland. In this role you will manage contract risks, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Support Thales Training & Simulation in the bid and project phases for all internal and external compliance and contract management matters, and actively support negotiations. Analyse requests for proposals, negotiate and draft contractual documents with clients, partners and suppliers. Monitor contract performance and execution, including risk monitoring, control and participation in project reviews. Act as focal point for customers, suppliers and partners regarding contractual, commercial, financial and technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. Establish and maintain contract baselines and records, preparing necessary documentation for proper contract management and potential litigation. Provide training to management and employees on contractual or compliance matters when requested. Support the legal entities of Thales Training & Simulation in Switzerland with corporate housekeeping and compliance duties related to Anti‑Bribery, Corruption, Data Protection and Trade Compliance in close cooperation with the General Counsel. Depending on background, act as Secretary of the Board for the legal entities, preparing corporate board meetings. Act as Compliance and Data Protection Officer in collaboration with the General Counsel and Group Compliance experts. Support Trade Compliance tasks and patent administration. Perform administrative tasks related to the above activities. Engage in specific project work on a case by case basis, building, maintaining and sharing contract‑management know‑how for Thales in Switzerland. Qualifications 6‑8 years minimum professional experience as a contract manager, in‑house legal counsel, paralegal or lawyer in a law firm or large enterprise. Law degree (Swiss law preferred) is an asset but not required. Proven track record with large and complex international industrial projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary, multicultural team. Strong commitment to service delivery in challenging circumstances. High awareness of commercial and financial issues, performing excellently under pressure. Strong negotiation skills with strong interpersonal and social skills. Excellent organization, structure and attention to detail in complex situations. Flexible and open to change with a strong desire for personal development. Pro‑active attitude to increase performance. Willingness to travel within Switzerland and abroad as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French is an asset. Benefits Collective agreement MEM‑Industry Swissmem.
