We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide.How You\'ll Make An ImpactEnsure the approval of critical parts and major changes via the global parts approval process (PPAP) to meet technical and operational requirementsLead local supplier quality improvement activities to elevate quality performance to required standards by enhancing built-in quality and supplier capabilities based on audit findings and past non-conformitiesCollaborate with suppliers for in-depth root-cause analysis, confirm effective countermeasure implementation, and plan/execute on-site assessments for detailed process investigations when necessaryTake ownership of supplier management processes at the factory level, leading supplier delivery instructions and conduct training sessions for Quality, SCM, and other factory functions to ensure compliance with global supplier management processesLead the clarification of material local quality requirements and customer complaints by considering the entire internal process, including receiving, distributing, manufacturing, inspecting, testing, and dispatching, in alignment with factory needsInitiate internal and external clarifications to specify requirements and communicate them to relevant teams, providing support for category-managed materials and taking the lead for other direct materialsYour backgroundDegree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field in Procurement or SCMMinimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality management or a related area within a manufacturing environmentProficiency in quality management systems, like APQP or PPAP Process and tools, such as SAP S4/Hana Module QMStrong analytical skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actionsExcellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to lead and manage quality improvement projects effectivelyVery good German and English language skillsMore About UsOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
