Let’s talkYour responsibilitiesStrategic Advisory:Guide leading international energy and commodity trading firms through complex transformation projects - from physical trading optimization to digital ETRM/CTRM implementations. Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop pragmatic, data-driven solutions.Business Transformation:Design forward-looking strategies that strengthen trading models, enhance operational efficiency, and enable end-to-end integration across front, middle, and back office functions.Technical Leadership:Shape and lead technical delivery teams - including DevOps, data engineering, and integration specialists - to implement modern trading architectures, middleware, and API-driven solutions.Market Expertise:Apply your deep knowledge of energy and commodities markets - including power, oil, and derivatives - to guide clients through trading, risk management, and regulatory change initiatives.Innovation & Technology:Drive the adoption of modern ETRM/CTRM platforms and innovative trading technologies. Collaborate on cloud-native solutions, API-based integrations, and data pipelines that deliver measurable business impact.Execution Excellence:Independently manage and structure project workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams across locations (Geneva, nearshore, offshore).Entrepreneurial Ownership:Take responsibility from day one. Think entrepreneurially, act proactively, and deliver tangible results that help our clients evolve in a rapidly changing trading landscape.Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldIndustry Expertise:Several years of experience in Energy & Commodity trading, ideally in Power or Oil & Gas markets, with a strong understanding of both physical and derivatives trading. You bridge the gap between business, risk, and technology seamlessly.ETRM/CTRM Knowledge:Hands‑on experience with major ETRM/CTRM systems such as Endur, Allegro, Murex Commodities, Openlink, TriplePoint, or Aspect - and their integration into trading operations and risk management workflows.Nice to have:Additional know‑how in treasury management within a commodity trading house like experience in SAP TRMm ION Treasury Suite (Findur, Wallstreet, Reval) or FIS Treasury Solution (Quantum Integrity).Experience in carbon markets and energy transition frameworks.Ability to set up testing frameworks for trading systems and processes.Technical & DevOps Leadership:Experience designing and leading DevOps delivery models, including nearshore and offshore teams. Skilled in middleware integration, data structures, and API design and management.Technology Enthusiasm:You’re passionate about innovation in energy trading and modern IT architectures. Bonus points for technical skills such as:Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages (object‑oriented experience a plus).Experience with data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Familiarity with ETL frameworks (Airflow), messaging systems (Kafka), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).Understanding of AI, automation, and data‑driven optimization in trading environments.Language Skills:Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a strong plus.
