Role:

The Event & Communication Specialist is responsible for the coordination and successful execution of national and regional Brand Events. He/she supports Dealer Events if requested and manages the process of Sponsorships and Co-Branding activities to ensure successful implementation.

The Event & Communication Specialist is also responsible for brand communication (TV/Print/Radio) to ensure successful implementation and maintains close contact with the relevant agencies (creative, media, event). The Event & Communication Specialist must ensure campaign efficiency, set proper KPIs, and ensure ROI.

In this role, she/he reports to the Marketing Section Manager Cars.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Elaborates and executes the event and sponsorship activity at national and regional level, proposing and following the related KPIs.
  • Elaborates the communication (TV/Print/Radio) and event strategy, together with the Marketing Manager, following the HME guidelines.
  • Designs with the agencies the best channel to communicate, defines KPIs and targets, and ensures targets are met.
  • Designs with the agencies the yearly event activity.
  • Prepares and follows up on meetings with the agencies: plenary and small committee meetings.
  • Coordinates processes to ensure good collaboration with and between agencies; supports the Marketing Section Manager to establish and validate an annual evaluation of the agencies.
  • Establishes agency briefings to keep deadlines and follows up on defined KPIs.
  • Ensures that deadlines and budgets are respected.
  • Manages the relationship with relevant stakeholders within HME-CH and at Honda Europe and the creative agency of HME.
  • Co-hires and manages the trainee to increase her/his skills and to provide proper support in event & communication topics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proposes, executes, and monitors activities of Events, Sponsorship, and Co-Branding Activities (contract follow-up, management of partnership activities, on- and off-line communication, budget management, reporting) to enhance Brand Experience and Awareness in line with the Brand mission.
  • Designs and ensures the process of dealer enrolment, leads generation, and conversion.
  • Coordinates and follows up on advertising or promotional campaigns (TV/Print/Radio), international or local, aimed at developing our Brand awareness and sales in Switzerland.
  • Gains the dealer network adhesion in the domain of event and communication to ensure project success.
  • Ensures that every activity is set up with the proper KPIs and measures results against those targets.
  • Ensures coordination and constant contact between various partner agencies or service providers and optimizes their efficiency related to campaigns and Events.
  • Proposes, plans, and executes national and regional Events. Respects budgets and timelines to ensure efficient roll-out and manages all relationships with involved agencies.
  • Maintains regular contact with dealers to achieve the highest possible efficiency and dealer participation in the planning and execution of dealer events or dealer marketing measures.
  • Proposes, executes, and monitors communication campaigns.
  • Proposes and follows up on KPIs and measures all campaigns and events, ensuring a PDCA process to measure results against targets and proposes countermeasures when needed.
  • Supports the sales network for all requests related to the advertising strategy or promotion of the brand.
  • Works alongside the Digital Marketing team to ensure a smooth and efficient exchange of information to increase the efficiency of events and campaigns and provide a homogeneous user experience offline.
  • Proposes, develops, coordinates, and manages Dealer Marketing activities to enhance Brand Communication of Dealers in line with Brand Values and User Experience (NL, Events, etc.).
  • Cooperates with the Public Relations and Sales departments and Honda Motor Europe (HME) in the organization and execution of Motor Shows (Genève, Zürich…).

  • Available to travel in Switzerland and Europe.
