For our long‑standing customer Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Production Engineer. Background The global Sub‑Chapter Production Engineering – Change Services is part of the global Engineering Chapter and is responsible for efficient, reliable and lean change‑control management (ECRs). This team mainly handles product‑care topics for established products and the introduction of new products, from the pilot phase to commercial production. The Sub‑Chapter brings technical expertise to implement successful material, system, process and product changes. Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten ECR Coordination: Responsible for planning, coordinating, technical assessment, task assignment and implementation of changes (ECRs) in coordination with the Product Leader and/or Team Leader. Preparation and maintenance of specification and proof documentation, work plans, master data and bill‑of‑materials. Training of required documents. Responsible for smooth start‑up and shutdown of changes in production. Analysis and trending of ECRs. Preparation of information for product meetings. Proactive steering and communication (escalation when necessary) to timely close ECRs. Ensures that specification and proof documents as well as master data for product manufacturing are created, released and trained in a timely manner and in accordance with process and quality requirements. For NPIs: Accompanies development projects and supports, e.g., the development of patterns and prototypes, coordinates required materials and provides feedback on manufacturability. Responsible for compliance with quality targets, schedule requirements and regulatory obligations. Active stakeholder management. Additional tasks: Handles actions resulting from deviations and ensures that internal interfaces are involved. Permanent optimization of work flows towards a LEAN ECR Service. Active support of improvement measures within and outside the Engineering Chapter, in coordination with the Sub‑Chapter Lead. Lead smaller projects assigned by the Product Lead or Sub‑Chapter Lead (e.g., KvP). Anforderungen Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable life‑science study. Minimum 3 years experience in a strictly regulated production environment, preferably GMP regulated. Initial experience in Engineering Change Management or project management, leadership experience in projects is an advantage. Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, KvP is a plus. Experience with Office applications required; basic programming skills in Tableau (data management tool) or R Studios is an advantage. Fluent German and English required.
