About Liom
Liom is a leading Swiss health-tech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the field of personalized health and wellness monitoring technology. Our objective is to develop the first health wearable monitoring glucose non-invasively. We will launch our wearable as a consumer product in the EU in H1’2027, and then as a medically cleared product in the US. We are on a mission to empower people to live healthier lives, and our cutting-edge app is at the forefront of this transformation. Our team consists of over 80 staff, including more than 50 PhDs, with deep expertise in entrepreneurship, product development, and the required engineering as well as scientific disciplines. We are dedicated to creating lasting change in wellness habits and fostering a supportive community. We are operating out of our lab facilities in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland, and our office in San Francisco, United States.
Your mission
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Growth Marketing Lead to join our team as our first marketing hire. This role is instrumental in building and owning our marketing funnel from scratch and driving user acquisition through word of mouth, primarily via social media channels. Your expertise in health, wellness, or weight loss marketing will be key to your success in this role. s the first marketing hire, you still enjoy working hands-on and operational while you will be shaping the Liom brand and communication and build a team that launches Liom’s innovative wearable portfolio of products down the line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Create a comprehensive growth marketing strategy for our app in the health and wellness space.
- Influencer Partnerships: Utilize your knowledge of the influencer landscape to create impactful partnerships and drive word-of-mouth growth.
- User Acquisition: attract and convert target audiences into loyal users while ensuring campaigns authentically reflect the brand’s identity and drive long-term growth.
- Funnel Management: Build and optimize the marketing funnel, ensuring integration with the product team to enhance user experiences.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze data and metrics to improve conversion rates, foster long-term user engagement, and iterate on marketing strategies.
- Testing and Iteration: Employ A/B testing and other methods to quickly refine messaging and imagery, supporting a data-driven approach.
- Team Building: Grow into a leadership position, with the potential to expand and lead a dedicated marketing team.
Your profile
- Proven experience in health, wellness, and/or weight loss marketing, preferably with companies like Noom, MyfitnessPal, Macrofactor, LooseIT, Zero, or similar.
- Experience as an early marketing hire in a startup environment, with a track record of building successful marketing functions from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of the influencer landscape within the health and wellness industry.
- Minimum experience of 5 years hands-on setting up and managing performance marketing campaigns in Google and Meta
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
- Strong social media and content marketing expertise, particularly in platforms prevalent within the wellness space.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to craft compelling brand narratives.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in developing and managing partnerships with wellness influencers and professionals.
