Stadler Signalling is the Stadler Group's competence center for signalling technology and digitalization with several locations in Germany, Switzerland and North America. In the areas of automated driving (ATO), train control (ETCS), modern complete systems (CBTC), interlocking and passenger information systems, our teams of highly qualified employees work on the further development of our signalling solutions. HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT- Develop and implement template radio architectures, tailoring them to project requirements and integrating performance characteristics according to customer specifications
- Configure and optimize Data Communication Systems (DCS) for Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC Systems)
- Evaluate DCS Design and Architecture to enhance system architecture focusing on Network Security aspects
- Manage network administration for CBTC Communication Components
- Conduct system testing and validation of DCS reference architecture and design
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering from a recognized university with a specialization in wired and wireless network technologies (Wi-Fi and LTE)
- Proficient in principles, practices, methods, and emerging trends in communications engineering such as radio frequency allocations, signal strength measurements, and tolerances
- Hands-on experience in radio design (radio propagation, network layout, antenna selection, fast roaming, radio interference survey, and radio link budget) and network configuration (layer 2 & 3)
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Start immediately or upon agreement
