Test Engineer / Lab Technician Medical Devices (temporary or freelance, 100%, 2 years)

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute tests for customers independently (100% on customer's site) as a Test Engineer / Lab Technician in the field of material testing
  • Set-up tests, conduct tests, document, and interpret test results
  • Serve as lab representative within international project teams, interacting with intercompany disciplines (development, product care, quality)
  • Support new test development and test method validation activities
  • Solve problems and find solutions with the right balance between state-of-the-art technology, business needs, and compliance
  • Act as an internal service provider, advising customers on test procedures and outcomes

Your Skills and Experience

  • Education as a lab technician, engineer, or in a natural science field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a GxP test laboratory within regulated industries (medical devices, IVD, or pharmaceutical industry)
  • Very accurate work approach with good documentation skills
  • Independent, self-organized, and hands-on attitude
  • Systematic and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Team player who works efficiently and flexibly in interdisciplinary teams
  • Decision-maker, taking the lead where appropriate and necessary
  • Very good communication skills and ability to gain trust with stakeholders
  • German is a must, English is desirable
