Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the core IP network.
2. Ensure network scalability and performance through capacity planning.
3. Align network plans with business objectives, working with various teams.
4. Design network architecture for optimal performance, reliability, and security.
5. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve infrastructure.
6. Configure and deploy core IP network equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls.
7. Perform network upgrades and optimizations for growth and security.
8. Implement security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
9. Manage daily network operations, including monitoring and incident response.
10. Develop and enforce network security policies and best practices.

Profile

1. At least 5 years of experience in IP networks, with a focus on network security.
2. Preferred certifications: CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
3. Proven expertise in network planning, design, and operations.
4. Strong knowledge of IP networking principles, protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), and services.
5. Proficiency in network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, CGNAT, encryption).
6. Experience with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, Librenms, Grafana, Telegraph, Nagios).
7. Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
8. Proficiency in English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
