Die smiti AG in Horgen ist spezialisiert auf Verleih und Vermittlung von Spezialisten in den Bereichen IT, HR, Sales, Finance, Marketing und Merchandise.

Für unseren Kunden in diversen Standorten u.a Zürich und Zentralschweiz suchen wir einen/e PostgreSQL DBA Specialist – (a) – Festanstellung – (1638)

Ihre Aufgaben

  1. Verantwortung für das Engineering, Management und LifeCycle-Management der PostgreSQL-Datenbankinfrastrukturen auf Unternehmensebene.
  2. Sicherstellung eines stabilen und zuverlässigen Betriebs der Datenbanken sowie ihrer Anwendungen in Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams.
  3. Zuständigkeit für die Konzeption, Installation, den Betrieb und die Wartung hochverfügbarer PostgreSQL-Datenbank-Systeme.
  4. Verantwortung für das LifeCycle-Management der Datenbanken und Unterstützung der IT-Architektur.
  5. Kontinuierliche Entwicklung und Betreuung bestehender und neuer PostgreSQL-Datenbanken sowie technische Unterstützung in der Applikationsentwicklung.
  6. Planung und Durchführung von Datenbankmigrationen sowie Mitwirkung an bereichsübergreifenden IT-Projekten inkl. Pikett.

Profil

  1. Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
  2. Praktische Erfahrung in PostgreSQL-Umgebungen.
  3. Fundierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit PostgreSQL Server, einschliesslich Cluster-Management.
  4. Geübter Umgang mit der Skriptsprache Shell und Kenntnisse in der Automatisierung.
  5. Engagement für Wissensvermittlung, Verbesserung von Abläufen und erfolgreiches Projektmanagement.
  6. Kenntnisse in Cloud- und Container-Technologien.
  7. Ausgezeichnete Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch.
