Head of Systematic Multi-Asset Research (100%)

Would you like to be at the forefront of quantitative multi-asset investments? We are looking for a Team Head to lead our systematic multi-asset research team, operate and develop our portfolio of strategies harvesting risk premia.

What would your role be?

Absorb, maintain and innovate our portfolio of systematic, multi-asset risk premia strategies

Experiment new strategies / techniques to sustain / improve performance, in particular machine learning / artificial intelligence in combination with traditional approaches

Grow our visibility and reputation, both in the market and within Vontobel, as a leading provider of quantitative investment solutions

Manage a research team, form a performance oriented culture, interact with peers in portfolio management to create positive feedback loops to sustain performance

What are we looking for?

7-10 years experience in conceiving, deploying and operating macro-economically based systematic strategies across multiple asset classes (risk premia, systematic global macro)

Exper ience with research -oriented coding languages such as Matlab and Python

Experience developing machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithm a plus

Strong communication skills in English , German, French and Italian a strong plus
