Product Owner

Location: Herisau or Pfäffikon (ZH)Workload: 80-100%The main purpose of the Product Owner is to translate the smart factory strategy into digital solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and agility across manufacturing. Acting as the voice of business and operations within agile teams, the Product Owner defines, reviews and prioritizes requirements, ensures alignment with corporate and supply chain goals, and drives the delivery of scalable Industry 4.0 solutions that create measurable value for customers and plants.Responsibilities include:Support in developing a clear product vision for smart factory solutions (e.g. automation, IoT, digital twins)Alignment with company goals and stakeholders from production, IT and operations managementCreation, prioritization and maintenance of the product backlogPrioritization of requirements according to business value, feasibility and urgencyFormulation of business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteriaObtaining feedback, moderating requirements and communicating progressGathering and evaluating requirements from various departmentsActing as an interface between technical teams and the business sideActive participation in all ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint review, daily standups)Your profile:Higher education (Bachelor, Master, University) in industrial engineering, production engineering or a related fieldAt least five years of experience in manufacturing, digital transformation or IT/OT projectsIn-depth knowledge of Industry 4.0/Smart Factory concepts (IoT, MES, SCADA, PLC integration, cloud platforms, AI/analytics)Hands-on experience with AI technologies, copilots and intelligent agents as well as their application in manufacturing, automation or supply chain optimization.Experience with digital manufacturing solutions (e.g. Infor MES, Advaris, SAP Digital Manufacturing)Experience with IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity principles in productionAgile certifications (e.g. SAFe, PO/PM) are an advantageVery good communication skills in German and EnglishStrategic thinking, consulting skills, analytical skillsHigh level of commitment, ability to work under pressure and used to work independentlyJob Status: Aktiv #J-18808-Ljbffr
