We are looking for an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist in Aarburg, where the global headquarters is located.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Help Franke reach our ambitious environmental targets by facilitating reduction actions with a strong focus on Scope 3.
  2. Collect, review, validate, monitor and analyze sustainability data at company and product level.
  3. Manage data-intense projects by collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders as well as external sustainability and procurement teams of selected customers and partners.
  4. Provide an inclusive and balanced stakeholder process to ensure deliverables are aligned with Franke’s SBTi targets and strike the right balance of practicality while keeping a business-oriented mindset.
  5. Ensure data management is in line with current best practices and guidelines of the GHG Protocol.
  6. Support Franke’s GHG emission publications and progress reporting for SBTi.

  2. Communication - Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to ensure that everyone involved knows what they are working toward and what is expected from them.
  3. Data savviness and a quantitative mind - Having an eye for details with both numbers and words; being precise with calculations and their visualization.
  4. Proactive and open-minded - Ability to initiate new projects and processes with innovative approaches and ambitious goals, challenging the status quo, finding solutions in an entrepreneurial manner and not shying away to do things for the first time.
  5. Driving results - Managing projects, activities, and resources effectively, assuming personal ownership and accountability, focusing efforts on output rather than input.
Your Qualifications
  1. A completed bachelor's or master's degree in a business, engineering or other sustainability-related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a sustainability environment and knowledge of GHG Protocol and Scope 3, in particular.
  3. A proven track record of successfully managing projects in the fields of either sustainability, product management, or procurement in a multinational corporate environment.
  4. Understanding of data governance, skilled in managing (meta-)data to ensure data quality and adherence to standards.
  5. Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must; German is a plus.
  6. Experience in sustainability reporting and science-based targets are an advantage.
