Team mission We are a multi-disciplinary team of Product Designers, Content Designers and UX Researchers that are passionate about solving customer problems in an effective and delightful way. We collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data to ensure those principles are front and centre in the features we develop. The Localization and Communications Platform Team Mission is to build and maintain consolidated and scalable infrastructure and tools to enable engineering, marketing and supply teams to deliver consistent, personalised and relevant communications across multiple channels, in our customers’ preferred language. Your mission Design and iterate with your team on high quality communication channels including email, push notifications and SMS experiences. Partner with design systems to enable modular frameworks for our communication channels. Partner closely with Marketing and Brand to understand their messaging needs. Craft high‑quality experiences and interfaces across web and apps. Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights in making day‑to‑day design and product decisions. Work with UX researchers to plan strategic research initiatives and test your own designs. Work closely with Content Design to structure and iterate upon your designs. Develop a strong, user‑centred point of view on your product area and collaboratively advocate for user needs and your vision. Mentor other designers and give constructive feedback to strengthen your peers’ decision‑making skills and quality of work. Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate alignment, create shared understanding and communicate your design rationale. Your toolkit Minimum 6 years’ experience with end‑to‑end product design in a startup, SMB or large company with a digital offering. Experience with messaging experiences, B2C/B2B platforms, customer‑facing platforms, e‑commerce and mobile products is a huge advantage. A problem‑solving mindset that focuses on outcomes, not output, and applies user feedback or A/B testing tools to validate hypotheses. Proven track‑record in leading large design projects that demonstrate a user‑centred approach and high‑quality deliverables. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Examples that demonstrate an understanding of and ability to contribute to visual design, including branding, composition and UI components. Ability to bring ideas to life through prototyping with simple click‑through mock‑ups. Demonstrable ability to present design concepts and final designs, articulate the decision rationale behind them and build a product vision. Be proactive and comfortable working autonomously. Experience working closely within cross‑disciplinary product teams, including Product Managers and Engineers. A history of strong communication and collaboration across functions is essential. An understanding of how UX impacts business objectives and KPIs.
