The role As a DevOps Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate for mindset and tooling, value the longstanding DevOps technologies and help our customers to continuously improve their DevOps environment. How you’ll make impact Balancing technical hands‑on work with strategic thinking, you will: Ensure the operation of production and development environments, resolving disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers. Bring operational excellence into development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality. Build and continuously optimise automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring. Manage strong stakeholder relationships and exercise subtle leadership skills, influencing without authority and navigating political nuances. Provide customer consultation regarding new infrastructure projects. What’s important to us You have already worked for several years in software development and architecture and are also familiar with operational topics. You have experience in the following technologies: Shell (Unix Shell/PowerShell) Java Jenkins Ansible Maven Gradle Git / GitLab Artifactory A quick grasp, strong communication skills and an understanding of business processes help you to understand complex client problems. A technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) would be a plus. Daily communication and interaction with customers and colleagues bring you joy – fluent in German and English.
