The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine promotes research and teaching in the fields of health, medicine, functional capacity and rehabilitation. Our mission is to improve health and well-being for all by creating a diverse, inclusive environment for innovative research, education and services.
As of the 1st of March 2025 or by agreement, we are looking for a
Responsibilities
- Undertake research in the domain of Person-centered Medicine for Children and Adolescent at the University of Lucerne and our partner institution the Children's Hospital of Central Switzerland (Lucerne cantonal Hospital).
- Support of research projects led by other groups at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine and other national and international collaborators.
- Support of teaching activities
- Participation at international academic conferences
Requirements
- Completed master's degree in Health Science or Medicine.
- Knowledge and interest in the health of children and adolescents and in particular in communicable diseases and their prevention.
- Ability to discuss/write/present scientific results in English
- Highly motivated, reliable, efficient, and able to work independently
- Trained in basic biostatistical methods
- Good German language skills (ideally level B2)
