High Voltage Testing Engineer 80 - 100% (f/m/d)Share this jobThe OpportunityAs a High Voltage Test Engineer, you’ll lead critical on-site testing and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You'll coordinate with customers and internal teams, manage test schedules, and deliver precise technical documentation. This role offers the chance to take ownership, travel extensively, and represent the company in high-impact technical discussions.How you’ll make an impactConduct high voltage testing and partial discharge measurements in cooperation with customer representativesSupervise and report any deviations from specifications, ensuring prompt correctionEnsure that on-site work complies with safety regulations and quality standardsManage the scheduling and coordination of testing activities, including on-site final acceptance of High Voltage TestsRepresent the company at site meetings and along technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholdersEnsure timely documentation including final test reports, protocols, and non-conformance recordsYour backgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics EngineeringStrong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently in a structured and organized mannerFluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken formsWillingness to travel extensively and work flexible hoursStrong decision-making skills and ability to manage technical clarifications independentlyProfound understanding of safety standards and ability to intervene in unsafe conditionsOur flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader that is advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
