Cloud System Engineer

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our infrastructure team in the Global IT department, we are looking for a dedicated IT System Engineer (f/m/d), 100%.This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our on-premises and cloud-based services, supporting automation, and ensuring the stability and scalability of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Azure services, and Office 365 administration.Your tasks:Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory infrastructure, including GPOs, organizational units, and user/computer accounts.Develop and maintain PowerShell and Azure Cloud Shell scripts for automation, system monitoring, and reporting.Administer and integrate Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) with on-prem AD and other cloud services.Configure and support Microsoft Entra ID for secure and efficient identity and access management.Oversee and troubleshoot Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) in hybrid and cloud environments.Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security resources.Lead the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and full post-migration functionality.Implement and uphold IAM best practices across both on-prem and cloud systems.Conduct regular audits, updates, and backups to ensure compliance and system integrity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects, create and maintain technical documentation, and support knowledge sharing and training initiatives.Your profile:Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and Office 365 administration.Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity models.Familiarity with Azure IaaS services and migration best practices.Solid understanding of IT security, IAM principles, and infrastructure compliance.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Excellent English and good German skills.Our offer:A dynamic and rapidly growing work environment with internal development opportunitiesFlexible working hours with home office days and an option for obtaining additional vacation days through workload reductionEmployee development through numerous internal and external training opportunities60% coverage of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as option for extra-mandatory pension provision with our Pension Plan PlusAccess to the Swibeco benefits platform with discounts from external partnersFresh, healthy and varied food in our staff restaurantA wide range of free sports activities on the Bachem CampusWould you like to drive innovation together with us?We look forward to receiving your complete application documents via our application portal.Learn more about the Bachem Group and get inspired by our exciting work environment at our location in Bubendorf #J-18808-Ljbffr
