  • Editing and coordinating data from third parties into ready-to-print files for package sample building
  • Design adaptation (transfer of an existing package design from one packaging type or format to another including the necessary rearrangement or resizing of the existing design elements on the new package type or format)
  • Design relaunching (substantial change of an existing packaging design (redesign) of an existing product or brand/sub-brand)
  • New design development (developing a completely new packaging design for a new product or brand/sub-brand)
  • Advanced packaging and graphic design expertise
  • Job organization & management skills (= temporary replacement of Job Coordinator)
  • Creating 3D packaging simulations with ESKO and Blender
  • Creating 3D animations with Blender
  • Broader scope of design application: designing several other materials like posters, brochures, logos, stickers, icons, etc.
  • Develop (further) and execute training for (new) Packaging Designers
  • Delivering high quality package designs for customized package samples
  • Important marketing and sales support service that enables our sales & marketing workforce to visually and haptically demonstrate SIG product portfolio and packaging solutions offering
  • Leveraging senior expertise within team and for advising packaging designers with know-how and process knowledge

You bring these skills, experience & education:

  • University or college degree in Graphic Design or similar apprenticeship, ideally from an international college or university
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English. German would be an advantage.
  • Experienced, professional usage of the Adobe Creative Suite, first and foremost Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (at least 2 years experience)
  • Experience in 3D is an advantage: Esko Studio Designer, Blender
  • Design department of a design or advertising/communication agency (more than 5 years)
  • Design experience in the food & beverage area very favourable
