Function: Distribution
Department: Marketing - Digital Distribution
Purpose: To own, manage, deliver first-class client events, and campaign management across multiple business lines globally. A key focus of this role is to ensure that all activities are leveraged across the business.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Planning and execution of GAM’s client events delivered through in-person, digital and hybrid experiences globally including extensive liaison with the wider marketing function.
- Support the delivery of timely, relevant, and engaging campaigns (newsletters, mailings) to clients, applying appropriate budget and resource.
- Liaise with sales teams to align central marketing strategy, material and campaigns to support business objectives and needs.
- Delivery of GAM Holding AG Results and AGM.
- Design and build of event invitations and registration websites using CVENT.
- Co-ordination of all event types including GAM conferences, seminars, exhibitions, awards and any required promotional materials.
- Pre-event delegate management and on-site organisation for physical events.
- Post-event analysis and reporting to management.
- Liaison with event venues and external event suppliers including sourcing new event ideas and venue research.
- Proactively co-ordinate the fulfilment and distribution of exhibition stands for sponsored events, working with external suppliers to meet deadlines including delivery and venue logistics.
- Manage corporate merchandise including researching new items, briefing and managing projects with suppliers, regional liaison and stock control.
- Budget control - checking actual spend against planned spend; ensuring invoices are processed in good time to ensure swift payment.
- Degree calibre.
- 5-10 years’ experience in event marketing or event operations preferred.
- Experience in an in-house events role ideally within, but not limited to, the financial sector.
- Equally comfortable delivering online, hybrid or in person events.
- Digital Marketing savvy, computer literate with strong MS Office knowledge, CRM and digital event delivery platforms – CVENT experience is highly desirable.
- Agile in approach, with the ability to plan, manage cross-functional projects.
- English / German / French language skills would be ideal for the role.
- Professional approach and presentation.
- A strategic, creative, and passionate approach to all things events.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- A disciplined and motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and methodically.
- Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong and confident communication skills, dealing with external and internal clients including senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to work in a hybrid and flexible working environment.
