Die NZZ gehört zu den bedeutendsten privaten Medienunternehmen der Schweiz. Wir konzentrieren uns auf qualitativ hochstehende, unabhängige Publizistik und vertreten eine liberale Weltanschauung. Mit unseren Produkten bieten wir unseren Leserinnen und Nutzern täglich Orientierung. Neben den beiden Flaggschiffen «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» und «NZZ am Sonntag» gehören diverse weitere NZZ-Titel, NZZ-Veranstaltungsreihen, Podcast und TV-Formate zum Portfolio.

Unser Team für redaktionelle Produktentwicklung gestaltet das digitale Content-Erlebnis der NZZ-Marken (NZZ, NZZ Bellevue, The Market). Wir sorgen dafür, dass Inhalte wie Artikel, Videos, Podcasts und Newsletter ansprechend und nutzerfreundlich auf nzz.ch und in der App präsentiert werden, steigern so das Engagement unserer Leserinnen und Abonnenten, gewinnen neue Zielgruppen und stärken langfristig die Kundenbindung.

Das Team besteht aus zwei redaktionellen Produktmanagern, die auch als Redaktoren tätig sind, zwei UX-Designerinnen, zwei Entwicklern und einem Data Analysten. Zur Verstärkung suchen wir per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung einen Technical Product Manager, der direkt an den Lead Editorial Product Development berichtet.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Entwickeln und Aufzeigen von nutzerorientierten Lösungen zur Verbesserung des Engagements und der Zufriedenheit unserer Leserinnen und Abonnenten
  • Verwalten und Priorisieren des Produkt-Backlogs, um strategische Vorgaben in konkrete Umsetzungsmassnahmen zu übersetzen
  • Übernehmen des Requirements Engineerings, um Anforderungen klar zu definieren und für das Team zugänglich zu machen
  • Erstellen und Pflegen von Tickets (Jira) und Dokumentationen (Confluence) zur Unterstützung reibungsloser Prozesse
  • Fördern der Zusammenarbeit zwischen CMS-, Plattform- und App-Teams zur Sicherstellung eines kohärenten Content-Erlebnisses

Dein Profil

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Technical Product Manager, Product Owner oder Requirements Engineer in einem agilen Umfeld
  • Fähigkeit, Lösungsansätze selbstständig zu entwickeln und als Sparring-Partner für Teamkollegen und die Teamleitung zu fungieren
  • Technisches Verständnis für Web-Technologien sowie idealerweise Kenntnisse in E-Mail- und Content-Management-Systemen
  • Detailorientierung und hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein bei der Spezifikation und Dokumentation von Anforderungen
  • Ausgeprägte Eigeninitiative und die Fähigkeit, proaktiv Lösungsvarianten und Ideen einzubringen
  • Kommunikationsstärke, sowohl für die Zusammenarbeit im Team als auch mit Stakeholdern
  • Fliessende Englischkenntnisse und gute Deutschkenntnisse für den Austausch mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern insbesondere mit der Redaktion
  • Zertifizierung als Product Owner oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen von Vorteil
