Senior SAP Basis Administrator – Medical Device Sector (German Speaking)We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator who wants to work in a modern, fast-growing environment where reliability, security, and smart architecture matter.This role focuses on hands-on SAP operations, system improvements, and collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners. If you enjoy ownership, technical depth, and contributing to a meaningful mission, this one is for you.This is a full-time permanently employed role and comes with good home office flexibility.What you will doTake responsibility for the operation and continuous improvement of a broad SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and other business‑critical modules.Ensure system stability, performance, and security, working with cloud and on‑prem components.Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape long‑term platform evolution and technology choices.Collaborate with experts in development, infrastructure, and security to keep the environment running smoothly.Coordinate third‑party providers for maintenance, integrations, and upgrades.Drive activities such as updates, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Support SAP‑related projects such as new rollouts, system enhancements, and integrations with cloud solutions.Maintain clear documentation and follow structured change processes.What you bringAround 5 years of experience working as a SAP Basis Administrator.Solid understanding of SAP security, roles & authorizations, and platform governance.Experience with modern SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, cloud services, hybrid landscapes).Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks with internal colleagues or external service partners.Background in computer science, IT engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.Willingness to occasionally support maintenance work outside regular hours.Fluent German (ideally C1, minimum B2) and comfortable in English.Why this role is attractiveYou join a company whose products directly support people living with chronic illnesses.You work in a growth environment with new technology and modern infrastructure.Hybrid working model in the Bern area.A position where you can shape, improve, and evolve the SAP platform, not just maintain it.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesMedical Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
