What we do:

As the Global Business Process Specialist for Record to Report – General Accounting, you are part of the Global Business Process Management Organization in Roche Service & Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible in the E2E process area Record to Report for the continuous global harmonization, standardization, and automation of the General Accounting processes including the global deployments. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders from Finance, Commercials, Supply Chain, and IT, cross-divisionally (Pharma and Diagnostics).

Your day-to-day responsibilities are:
  1. Representing the Record-to-Report General Accounting Business Process Management organization in the ASPIRE project (SAP S / 4 HANA implementation), safeguarding the global template and harmonized processes, and further developing new processes for upcoming releases in close collaboration with the different streams within the project and other Business Process Management networks.
  2. Govern and further develop the global month-end and year-end closing template.
  3. Acting as a Business Process Specialist for General Accounting to govern changes to existing business processes and design new ones.
  4. Working closely together with the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) Operation Centers to drive and support process improvement wherever possible.
  5. Ensuring monitoring and optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Striving for cross-functional alignment to achieve End-To-End Process Harmonization among affiliates and RSS Operations Locations (Kuala Lumpur, Costa Rica, Riga, Budapest).
  7. The position may involve a fair amount of travel (up to 10-25%).
What can you bring to our team:
  1. Have a business degree or a financial education and 4-5 years of work experience in that area.
  2. Bring international or global/corporate experience and proven track record of participating in global projects/initiatives (preferably transformational in nature) and cross-functional teams.
  3. Strong SAP skills - S4 HANA implementation and project management background.
  4. Business Process Management skills.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in identifying and leading change initiatives and proven track record of effective decision-making.
  6. Strong influencing skills and ability to work in complex global networks with international teams and stakeholder communities.
  7. Experience in Financial Accounting.
  8. Agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) - work according to and bring in the agile mindset concept in daily operations.
  9. Exceptional organizational skills and time management, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely and high-quality accomplishment of such.
  10. Strong presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills in English.
