Our client is a growing global leader within the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in the development, manufacture, marketing, and sales of high-quality products on a global scale.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead efforts to design, optimize, scale-up, and implement manufacturing processes for biopharmaceutical products. Your expertise will contribute to the development and commercialization of cutting-edge therapies that improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts to scale up processes from development to commercial manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology transfer, ensuring successful implementation at manufacturing facilities.
- Manage equipment design, commissioning, and qualification for new or modified processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain process risk assessments, ensuring consistent and reliable operations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to advance process capabilities and operational excellence.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of success in designing and implementing processes for the production of biologics or pharmaceuticals.
- Detailed understanding of process validation requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Biochemical or equivalent.
