Green Assets Division The division’s goal is to create a significant, transparent, financially sound green asset portfolio comprising solar PV and onshore wind power plants. The target is a 2000+ MW geographically and technologically diversified portfolio by 2026 in Europe. Job Title: Renewable Energy Development Expert – Switzerland The role supports all Green operational matters in Switzerland, including joint‑venture cooperation, driving growth, and maximising profitability. The expert will also lead the technical deliverables of renewable energy projects, such as wind energy and utility‑scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, and will coordinate project development through construction up to operation. Responsibilities Coordinate wind energy and BESS projects from the investor’s side – overseeing timelines, budgets, resources, planning, licensing, construction, and other technical processes to ensure on‑time, full completion. Focus mainly on projects in Switzerland (German‑ and French‑speaking regions) and, as needed, on selected German projects. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, subcontractors, landowners, authorities, grid operators, associations, etc. Develop and implement strategies, generate potential investment and business development leads for renewables – particularly wind and BESS – including opportunities from the existing portfolio such as site development, enlargement, refurbishment, and repowering projects. Identify potential risks to partnership projects and develop mitigation strategies, covering development, construction, operations, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes. Ensure smooth coordination with all internal teams and external partners. Report strategic matters to the Green Assets Management on a regular and ad‑hoc basis. Stay current on advancements in wind energy, photovoltaic, BESS, and related technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage new innovations. Travel across Switzerland, Germany, and Europe as necessary. Qualifications Approximately 5 years of experience in renewable project development, particularly wind and BESS projects, and construction management in Western Europe (preferably partially in Switzerland). College/university degree in Engineering – advantage if Architecture or Civil Engineering with inclination toward commercial topics. Solid understanding of technical and economic aspects of wind power plants and other renewable technologies. Fluent in English and German (preferably Swiss German dialect); additional language knowledge, particularly French, is an advantage.
