Industrialisation Manager

To support our Operations team, we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for an:

This job role acts as an interface between engineering and production and requires strong know-how of product functionality and characteristics.

Management of the industrialisation team to achieve project timelines and budget.

Design and implementation of production lines (documentation and equipment):

• Setting up the resources required for product assembly: new production lines or upgrades to existing production lines, new production or control tools.
• Creation, updating, and management of assembly instructions, inspection instructions, and packaging instructions for products.

Management of changes during the life of the product:

• Management of Engineering Change Requests & Engineering Change Orders.
• Definition of application ranges for the introduction of new components.

Product engineering:

• Participation in design reviews to validate the feasibility of product assembly and reduce production costs.
• Drawing up production bills of materials (mBoM) from development bills of materials (eBoM) in cooperation with design during the development phases.
• Evaluation of sample components during development, with the aim of validating them before they are introduced into ‘series’ production.

Documentation management in our ERP (MS Dynamics Business Central):

• Management of item records, including related technical documents (drawings, sub-assemblies, or assemblies), safety data sheets.
• Management of mBoM and assemblies.
• Management of work instructions.
• Management of Phase In & Phase Out of components.

Customer documentation management:

• Management of part of the customer documentation, in collaboration with other departments and sub-contractors.
• Configuration management of delivered products.
• Management of necessary upgrades on delivered products.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Previous industrialisation experience: minimum 5 years in a management role in an industrial environment, preferably in related sectors (Batteries, automotive, electronics, aerospace).
• Team Management: supervising engineers and technicians.
• Project Management: experience in managing industrial implementation, Professional (PMP) or other project/program management certification preferred.
• Expertise in welding technique and mechanical integration.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
