Quality Control Lab Technician 40-100% (m/w/x)
Responsibilities:- Execute daily activities and control activities within the Quality Control Department while ensuring compliance with all existing GMP and safety standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain quality control equipment and machinery.
- Test and assess random product samples to ensure minimum pre-defined standards are met.
- Aggregate test data and document results of testing.
- Receive, store, and complete appropriate paperwork for samples submitted to the QC laboratories for testing.
- Perform routine housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain an inventory of samples and manage their disposal as required.
- Support in the release of materials by performing necessary quality control checks.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on designated instruments.
- Supply materials to the QC laboratory as needed.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.
- Lab technician or equivalent qualification in Chemistry/Biotechnology.
- Entry Level, 0-4 years of experience in Quality Control.
- Availability to work 40%-100% of the time.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with GMP and safety standards.
- Effective communication skills for documenting and reporting test results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of chemistry and biotechnology principles.
- Project duration: 10 months initially
