About the team you are joiningReporting to the Assistant Director Financial Charges Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on managing airline taxes, fees, and charges (TFCs) compliance solutions and supporting the creation of the next generation of solutions as the industry shifts towards a world of Offers and Orders. Your focus will be on supporting IATA’s TTBS (Ticket Tax Box Service) solution, which is an online platform that enables airlines, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and other airline pricing/revenue accounting IT solution providers to access the latest TFCs required for airline pricing and revenue accounting processes.
What your day would be likeAs TTBS Specialist, your daily responsibilities would include:
- Manage the collection and bulletin publication of industry taxes, fees, and charges, liaising with airlines, governments and IATA local offices as required.
- Support customer queries related to TFC applications and bulletins, collaboratively working with the relevant IATA SMEs and/or IATA local offices to solve complex issues while maintaining a high quality of customer service.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of TTBS web-based applications and SharePoint sites.
- Support the TTBS Product Manager on operational queries and relevant actions resulting from industry user groups (Tax Governance Group), participating in meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain operational SOPs, training material, conducting educational webinars and trial sessions for users and prospects as required.
- Supporting the transformation of TFC solutions (TTBS), including being a core part of the transformational project team, actively contributing TFC expertise and input on process improvement.
- 3-5 years airline business experience in commercial or operational activities, preferably in the areas of airline pricing and/or revenue accounting (with knowledge of passenger ticket taxes, fees, and charges).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, patience handling complex cases, ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Customer oriented mindset – ability to listen to customers to better understand their needs and be proactive in providing solutions.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, working knowledge of additional language(s) is a plus.
