We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Your main tasks and responsibilities: Contribute in the team-work developing detailed solutions within the concept Creating CAD models for the product ranges (parts & assemblies) Create 3D Models, Manufacturing Drawing for the parts and assemblies Generate support documentations from CAD (as applicable) like exploded views, Dim-drawings, P&ID etc. Generate pictures from CAD to be used in manuals To succeed in this role, you will need: Work experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering Experience in Sheet metal Design, Knowledge of manufacturing methods, limitations, Laser cutting and nesting principles, Welding of sheet metal parts, Understanding of mechanisms: bearings, lubrication. Experience in technical documentation preferably in mechanical equipment industry Knowledge of Sheet metal modules in CAD (Inventor), Vault. Knowledge of Fusion team will be added advantage. Basic knowledge of systematic approach to risk management, like FMEA. Capability to make simple strength calculations.
