Our client is an independent service provider in the areas of trading, consulting, portfolio management, and market access. Located in Zurich, they are currently looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their team.

As a member of the Portfolio Solutions team, you will work on a wide variety of projects with our clients in addition to regular portfolio management. You will take on responsibility and have a direct impact on the success of their department.

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for managing and overseeing our clients' portfolios for electricity, gas, and renewable energy certificates, including the development of appropriate procurement, sales, and risk strategies.
  • You act on behalf of clients in the wholesale market and optimize the procurement and marketing of the respective positions.
  • You aim to become a trusted point of contact for clients when it comes to market developments in the aforementioned commodities.
  • You analyze energy markets, exchange insights with experienced experts, and form a well-founded market opinion.
Your Profile
  • You have a completed degree in energy economics, business administration, or a technical field.
  • You bring work experience in the energy industry.
  • You are able to understand complex processes and maintain an overview. You are characterized by an analytical and meticulous working style, business acumen, and initiative.
  • You have a confident demeanor, the ability to explain complex relationships in a simple way, and are fluent in negotiations in German. French is a plus.
  • You remain calm under pressure, can manage multiple time-critical tasks simultaneously, and keep things under control in hectic situations.
