SAP SD/MM Consultant (German Speaking) – Manufacturing Industry

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SAP SD/MM Consultant to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing company. As an expert in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, you will play a key role in optimizing and supporting SAP processes across our manufacturing operations. This role requires fluency in German and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Tasks
  • Configure and customize SAP SD and MM modules to meet business requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization within the SAP framework.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP SD/MM modules, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into SAP functional specifications.
  • Lead or participate in SAP projects, including rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams on SAP best practices.
  • Ensure proper documentation of SAP configurations, processes, and technical specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between the business, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure seamless communication and project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP SD and MM modules, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes, materials management, and supply chain management within SAP.
  • Fluent in German (both written and spoken); good knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP SD/MM.
  • Experience in SAP project management, including full-cycle implementations or rollouts.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
