General Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist serves as a member of the Finance Team. The position requires the candidate to independently manage and properly ensure the Accounts Receivable function including appropriate reporting and adherence to planned metrics in this area. Results should be achieved through efficient business processes (existing processes and implementation of new processes aligned with business objectives, as well as with ISZL’s strategy) and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. This is a full-time role (100%) of limited duration (January 2025 until September 2025).

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage and control outstanding receivables and due dates incl. dunning process & deb collection process
  2. Generate and book invoices and incoming payments
  3. Cooperate with the auditors in relation to task area
  4. Handle customer communication (email, phone calls)
  5. Liaise with internal departments
  6. Reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger accounts
  7. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  8. Process descriptions in relation to tasks in the ICS
  9. Partially manage the Customer Master Data (System ISAMS)

Other Responsibilities

  1. Participate in the continuous development of skills, tools and processes
  2. Work on specific or cross-functional projects, when required
  3. Report violations of compliance requirements to the line manager
  4. Coordinate with other departments to increase efficiency and effectiveness, best practice sharing

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  1. Commercial degree (profiles E, M) and/or degree as accounting clerk (i.e. Sachbearbeiter Rechnungswesen is an advantage)
  2. Solid professional background in commercial and/or finance and accounting, as well as 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  3. Very good user skills in MS Office, as well as very good knowledge of ERP systems (knowledge of Abacus is a plus)
  4. Independent, pragmatic and structured way of thinking and working
  5. Strong communication skills
  6. Very good knowledge English, both written and spoken (German is a plus)
