JOB TYPE Full time LOCATION Fully On-site (WFO) in Nashik, Maharashtra, India SKILLS C/C++, STL, Qt (Qt5/Qt6), Visual Studio, CMake, OOP, UML, SDLC EXPERIENCE 7–10 years in Software Development (including advanced experience with Qt/C++) EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Computer Science, Information Technology / Related field JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a Senior C++/Qt Software Developer with 7-10 years of experience and deep expertise in architecting and developing complex desktop applications using modern C++ (C++14/17) and Qt (Qt5/Qt6). The candidate should have a strong understanding of Qt principles / frameworks, Multithreading, and Networking, and performance‑critical systems along with excellent problem‑solving skills. You will contribute significantly to the modernization of Haefely’s next‑generation high‑voltage test and measurement platforms. Candidate will work closely with our global R & D Team in Switzerland on developing and modernizing high‑voltage test and measurement software. The role involves collaboration with Domain Experts and offers the opportunity to influence software design decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices across the product line to shape the next generation testing platforms. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in architecture & software programming – UI Framework, application design, implementation & testing reusable software components Expertise in modern C++ (C++14/17), including advanced concepts: memory management, multithreading, async programming, and performance optimization Strong experience with Qt (Qt5/Qt6), including Qt Widgets, QML, networking, and event‑driven programming Proven experience architecting UI frameworks, reusable components, and scalable application modules Hands‑on experience using Qt Creator and MS Visual Studio on Windows Hands‑on experience with building and maintaining software pipelines for CI/CD in line with modern build practices (Preferably Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar) Solid understanding of general software development practices, including version control (SVN, Git), Testing, and Debugging Experience using scripting language like Python, CMake Ensure delivery of high‑quality, well‑tested code in line with the Product Backlog and Sprint Goals Experience in Agile/ Scrum software development process Strong communication skills, fluency in English, ability to collaborate with global teams, and readiness to take ownership in high‑impact projects Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts is an advantage Experience with Automated Testing or UI Testing tools (e.g., Squish) is a plus RESPONSIBILITIES Designing, optimizing, and modernizing components and modules using C++ and Qt with a focus on modularity, scalability and long‑term maintainability Leading and contributing to architectural discussions, system design, and technical roadmaps Optimizing and profiling performance‑critical components, ensuring responsiveness and reliability Building and optimizing development pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions across various technical domains Contributing to the full software development lifecycle, architecture, testing and deployment Debugging, Troubleshooting, and optimizing performance‑critical applications Adhering to best practices in code quality, version control, and software engineering standards Staying up to date with modern C++ / Qt practices and proactively proposing and implementing improvements to our software stack Working closely with QA and Automation Teams to integrate and maintain unit and UI tests (e.g., Squish) Reviewing code, enforcing coding standards, mentoring junior developers, and providing technical leadership within the team Ensuring high‑quality deliverables through rigorous unit tests, UI tests and continuous integration practices OUR TECH STACK WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for professional growth in an international environment Access to state‑of‑the‑art tools and technology A professional environment encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and technical leadership Have we aroused your interest?
