Engineer – AMRT Lifecycle Engineering

Job Description Summary This versatile engineering role will provide experiences across various advanced manufacturing and repair technologies within GE Vernova. Work alongside global development teams to develop, industrialize and maintain new repair technologies that allow our products to perform over their lifecycle. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, quality assurance, and global collaboration. Roles and Responsibilities Assist in deploying advanced repair and inspection technologies. Develop automation, coatings, machining, and inspection technologies. Determine tolerancing for gas turbine components using data analytics. Support senior engineers in reverse engineering and resolving NCNs. Maintain repair qualifications for service centers, ensuring compliance. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations. Engage in Kaizen initiatives to enhance engineering processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Occasional travel (5‑10%) to global centers. Support development and technical aspects of industrial robot applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university. 1–3 years of experience in gas turbine design, repair, or manufacturing. Willingness to travel (5‑10%) to global engineering and service centers. Fluent in English; German at a fluent level (proficiency expected). Familiarity with AI and continuous improvement (Lean) mindset. Hands‑on experience in process development (additive tech, machining, coatings). Experience with NX or other 3D CAD models and design simulation; familiarity with data analytics and automated solution development.
