...a highly motivated Market Research & Market Access Associate for our Corporate Development group, which is part of the Finance Department.
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Lead the Market Research planning process, in close cooperation with Basilea stakeholders
- Implement the Market Research plan with qualitative and quantitative Market Research and Competitive Intelligence projects
- Manage and monitor contracts with Market Research and Competitive Intelligence agencies and vendors
- Maintain and expand established network in the Market Research area
- Provide commercial forecasts for products/markets and pipelines
- Participate in brand team meetings to ensure appropriate Market Research and Competitive Intelligence input
- Participate in project teams of pipeline products and BD&L, and ensure appropriate input from the market and patient perspective in these teams
Data Analytics and Market Access
- Construct market, pricing and Health Economics and Outcomes Research models
- Analyze the commercial potential of selected assets to help with the evaluation of external and internal business cases
- Standardize processes and analytic instruments for the commercial evaluation of indications/products
- Construct and maintain a database with product and indication evaluations
- Monitor and track the health care environment in key global markets to assess how best to introduce future Basilea products
- In cooperation with other departments, develop an area specific market information strategy which allows the company to further build upon its leading position in the anti-infectives area
- Initiation and maintenance of a Basilea key market knowledge center for the key brands
- Support global commercial in maintaining a database of pricing, reimbursement, formulary status and global economic dossiers for Basilea's brands
- University or equivalent degree in life sciences, statistics, marketing or economics discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in analytics or strategy development or in a Market Research role
- Participated in the planning, implementation and interpretation of (multi) national qualitative or quantitative market research projects (agency or corporate market research department)
- Ideally experience in HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research)
- Ability to structure, analyze, model and report financial and market data as well as patient and other data
- Good understanding of data science and business intelligence tools/databases (Data science, digitalization, programming (AI))
- Team player, used to work independently and collaboratively, an innovative and dynamic personality
- Good communication and presentation skills at different levels
- Fluency in English written and spoken is essential, any other language would be beneficial
