Our business portfolio encompasses a wide range of innovative printing solutions, making blister packaging more flexible, less complex, and more cost- and waste-efficient.About the RoleWe are looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join our R&D team as a Development Engineer PLC Software (m/f/d) in Volketswil.Conceptualizing and creating PLC software within the framework of machine and module development, product maintenance, and customer projects in an interdisciplinary context, considering functional, safety, and time requirementsDeveloping and testing machine/module prototypesEvaluating new technologies and methodsContributing to the design and implementation of processes and guidelines for PLC software development and documentationSupporting sales in reviewing and evaluating change requests, assembly in the development and training of commissioning procedures, and hotline with 3rd level support casesWhat You Need to Be SuccessfulA technical degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related fieldExperience in a similar environment is an advantage - but recent graduates are also encouraged to applyFamiliarity with modular PLC software development (preferably using B&R Automation Studio) is a plusKnowledge of safety function design and implementation is a benefitA structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approachA collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when neededStrong communication skills in German and English—both spoken and written (required)Our OfferIn this position, you will have the opportunity to actively shape our systems for printing press operation and process automation with state-of-the-art technologies, successfully implementing a variety of technical projects.
