For our client Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a motivated and reliable (m/f/d).Senior SW Engineer 100%ResponsibilitiesYou develop concepts and participate in feasibility studies to meet technical requirementsYou perform and take ownership of specific software development tasks, ensuring reviews using checklists and templatesYou lead work package definition, estimation, and planning, and enhance or document SW unit specifications and designsYou review designs and contribute to the SW architecture, defining quality attributes and staying updated with technology trendsYou conduct root-cause analysis of complex issues and provide bug fixes for post-market software releasesYou ensure compliance with processes, propose improvements, and stay informed about regulatory and market standardsQualificationsUniversity education in a software related field such as software or electrical engineering Industry experience.2 years proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Rust developmentSolid understanding of Rust\'s core concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimesExperience with asynchronous programming in Rust (e.g., using async/await)Familiarity with common Rust libraries and frameworks (e.g., tokio, actix-web, rocket, serde, sqlx)Experience with C++ ; CAN bus and Linux /Linux DockersBasic scripting knowledge would be an advantageRabbitMQ knowledge would be an advantageEvent-Driven Architecture knowledge would be an advantageFirst experience working in regulated environments such as the medical device industryHighly motivated with focus on deadlines and a proactive and thorough way of workingFluent in English and German is advantageousDevelopers with an interest in interdisciplinary and hardware focussed applications as well as electronic engineer with a strong backgrounds and interest in software development are encouraged to applyExcellent communication and team working skills, flexibility, willingness to write good documentationNice to HaveExperience in agile environmentsDetailsStart date: 01/07/2025 - latest: 01/10/2025Planned duration: 12 monthsExtension: possibleRemote/Home Office: 50% remote possibleAre you interested and would you like to seize this opportunity?
