About Our Client

Our client is a fast global operating Private Market infrastructure investment manager with plans to embrace further growth in the DACH region. For their client's department, we are searching for a VP Infrastructure Sales DACH in Zurich to develop new and existing institutional clients.

Job Description

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities and understand client's needs.
  2. Establish and maintain professional relationships with institutional investors in the DACH area.
  3. Act as a first point of contact for all existing clients in the respective region.
  4. Represent the company at events and organize networking events in the alternative investment industry.
  5. Proactively cover the market with a clear focus on selling the company's diverse set of investment products.
  6. Maintain close and collaborative relationships with the Investment Management and other internal stakeholders.
  7. Work together with the Client Services team to ensure continued coverage of existing clients in the region.

The Successful Applicant

  1. University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. 4 - 8 years of experience in the financial industry with strong sales skills and readiness to establish infrastructure products on the market.
  3. Proven institutional sales experience in the DACH region.
  4. Alternatively, candidates with an investment background in Private Equity and/or Private Markets willing to switch to the sales side.
  5. Experience with Infrastructure investments is a strong advantage.
  6. Ability to build key relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups, strong communication skills, and a strong service mentality as a team player.
  7. Ability to plan and organize work properly and meet deadlines through prioritization.
  8. Thorough understanding of capital markets and affinity with technical and industry-specific developments, able to translate these into coherent communications; good understanding of sustainability challenges, frameworks, and ESG integration relevance for investments.
  9. Professional fluency in English and German.
